The Unity of the Body of Christ

Brian and I attended Allan and Christine's Church (Covenant Pres. of Nashville) this past Sunday and during the prayer request time in Sunday School someone remembered First Pres of Gulfport, MS and prayed for Guy Richard by name. I thought that was so neat. It gave me an overwhelming sense of he universality of Christ's church. Also, one of the pastor's there is Stuart Latimer Jr, who is the son of my pastor's wife's old pastor. As if that sentence made any sense. :) It was cool to exchange greetings with him. He is an excellent teacher, by the way. Very much in sync with what Dr. Gage has done with typology, oddly enough. So we promised to send him a copy of the new Joseph and Judah book.

We've been having a blast this week. I will post more (and hopefully pictures!) when we get back.

Also, I've been feeling pretty nausated the past three days-- looks like I'm not going to get out of morning sickness after all. Should be a long car ride home. :} That's a sickly smile, in case you were wondering. It's been a grea trip and we have lots to tell, but that will have to keep!

Yay for Jordan blogging! You know FPC Gulfport is the church we're supporting at FPC Margate, right? That's really cool the Nashville church is in on it too.

No, that sentence didn't make sense. You must be pregnant.

Miss you guys a TON. Can't wait to see you Monday.

Nausea is SO reassuring, but vomiting is much better.

*Gag, Cough* Let's just say I'm feeling very reassured. So sorry to hear about your ankle!! (Do you need a meal? I have plenty that I'm not eating in my freezer. :) Seriously, let me know if I can send you something. Brocoli soup, manicotti, chicken casserole...)

I'm doing much better today, thanks. Where are you now? And when is your ultrasound? Blog again soon, but keep a garbage can handy.

*Break rule about using asterisks to denote action.*

Whoa, whoa, whoa . . . There is NO rule about asterisks being used to denote action. That is just another of the stupid practices common to bloggers, e-mailers, and IM folk. There is no rule, there is only foolish practice.

The rule is "Thou shalt never use asterisks to denote action for it is foolishness." It can be found in the Susan Beisner Rule Book.

Jordan, I just found your blog via Doni's site. Don't ask how...lol...my husband is working late, kids are in bed, I'm bored. Anywho, your site is amazing. I'm trying to read past journals to see where you are on the adoption journey & how you got to this point. I've added your site to my favorites so I can follow your journey! Good luck & best wishes!!!! :)

Melissa,
It is so nice to meet you! I love Doni's site. She is a big part of the reason my husband and I choose embryo adoption. We signed up for a traditional adoption, but we're still waiting to be picked. It is a tragedy, but most young women would rather abort than place for adoption. Thanks for your comment!
