Baby Highlights

Well, my favorite baby is now 10 months old! Not only that, but his second baseball season as a Tigers fan has begun. You can see that he is ready to cheer on Papa's team in his very fashionable Tigers onesie. Now that the Tigers have Iain's cuteness behind them, they may just take it all this year.


Iain is really coming very close to crawling. He scoots, rolls, and turns everywhere he wants to go. When it comes to crawling, he is still stuck in reverse. He gets so mad sometimes and will rock back and forth on all fours crying because he can't get where he wants to go. Poor baby! All too soon he will be into everything and my life will change yet again. These little people keep you on your toes.

He got his first haircut at the end of March, just in time for Grandma and Grandpa's visit. You can see from the picture above that his hair was getting a bit shaggy.

Here's the in-house barber at work. Iain was preoccupied with the biscuit we gave him and was very good until that was all gone and he realized that he was being messed with. Luckily, Papa only had a few more snips to go at that point.

Iain has started talking!! He says "Papa" "Mama" "Dada" and "Hi". He usually just babbles, but he does say those words and he knows what they mean. It is exciting to see this part of his development. Soon we'll know more of what is going on inside that dear baby head.
